C-3PO is part of the first 12 figures of the collection of figures “Star Wars” (vintage) created by the toymaker KENNER, these first figures were reissued several times over the years, the first editions of 1977 on the back of the cardboard has a print of the first 12 figures, today we know them as 12-back and are the most sought after by collectors.

C-3PO was a 3PO series protocol droid designed to interact with organic beings, programmed primarily for etiquette and protocol.
