Chief Chirpa is part of the sixth wave of figures of the vintage Star Wars collection produced by the toymaker KENNER in 1983, this wave was the first with figures of the characters of the movie “Return of the Jedi”.
These figures were reissued on several occasions and marketed in different countries, so it is easy to find differences in the cardbacks, being the first editions (65-back) the most sought after by collectors.
