Death Squad Commander is one of the first 12 figures in the "Star Wars" (vintage) figure collection created by the toy company KENNER. Death Squad Commanders are soldiers of the Death Star; they are elite Imperial Navy troops selected by Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin to serve on the first Death Star. Later, they were also stationed on the Death Star II and in the shield generator bunker on Endor.
