Lando Calrissian is part of the third wave of figures from the Star Wars Vintage Collection, produced by the toy company KENNER in 1980. This wave of figures was released to coincide with the premiere that same year of the second film in the saga, *The Empire Strikes Back*.
This figure was released in various countries and reissued in subsequent years, so it can be found with different packaging and/or minor color variations.
Lando Calrissian is a key character in Star Wars. Introduced in *The Empire Strikes Back*, he is the original owner of the Millennium Falcon and a longtime friend of Han Solo.
Lando is a skilled and charismatic gambler, and later becomes the administrator of Cloud City on Bespin. Although he is initially caught up in a deal with Darth Vader, Lando ultimately redeems himself by helping to rescue Han Solo and fighting against the Empire.
