Lando Calrissian is part of the third wave of figures of the vintage Star Wars collection, produced by the toymaker KENNER in 1980. The reason for this wave of figures was the release that same year of the second movie of the saga “The Empire Strikes Back”.
This figure was released in different countries and reissued in future years, so we can find it with different cartons and/or small changes in the color.
Lando Calrissian is a key character in Star Wars. Introduced in “The Empire Strikes Back”, he is the original owner of the Millennium Falcon and a former friend of Han Solo.
Lando is a skilled and charismatic player, and later becomes the administrator of the City of Clouds in Bespin. Although he is initially trapped in a deal with Darth Vader, Lando finally redeems himself by helping to rescue Han Solo and to fight against the Empire.
