Curiosities about the toy and variants

Lumat is a figure from the seventh wave of the Star Wars Vintage Collection, produced by the toy company KENNER in 1984; this wave featured figures of characters from the movie *Return of the Jedi*.

These figures were reissued and distributed in many countries, so we can find different packaging in different languages featuring the same figure.

Although this figure was technically released in 1984, it came out at the end of the year, and far fewer units were produced than for the others. For that reason, this figure is much more expensive than the rest and is included in the famous “The Last 17” list.

Character

Lumat is a character who first appears in *Return of the Jedi*. He belongs to the Ewok species and is one of the members of the tribe found on the moon of Endor.

During the Battle of Endor, the Ewoks join the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the Galactic Empire. Although Lumat does not play a major role in the plot, his participation in the battle demonstrates the Ewoks’ bravery and fighting spirit. Along with other members of his tribe, Lumat plays an essential role in the Rebel Alliance’s success on the moon of Endor.
