Weequay, from "Star Wars - Vintage (Figures)" collection, includes the following accessories:
Admiral Ackbar is part of the sixth wave of figures from the Star Wars Vintage Collection produced by the toy company KENNER in 1983; this wave was the first to feature characters from the movie *Return of the Jedi*.
These figures were reissued several times and sold in different countries, so it’s common to find variations in the packaging, with the first editions (65-back) being the most sought-after by collectors.
The Weequay figure was part of one of the many promotions run by KENNER, in which the company mailed a free figure to customers who sent in five proofs of purchase for other figures.
The Weequay are an alien species in the Star Wars franchise. They appear in *Return of the Jedi* as members of Jabba the Hutt's court at his palace in the Tatooine desert.
The Weequay are known for their distinctive appearance, with wrinkled skin and bony crests on their heads. Although they have little character development in the original trilogy, their presence in Jabba’s court adds diversity and an exotic touch to the alien species surrounding the crime lord.
