The Land Speeder (Sonic Controlled) was released alongside the first figures in the Star Wars collection to enhance the play experience.
Although very similar to the Land Speeder, this vehicle includes an extra feature: when you insert the batteries and turn it on, it moves forward. Using the R2-D2-shaped controller, you can change the direction the ship moves in: forward, backward, or rotate.
The controller emits a sound that triggers the ship’s mechanism.
It is said that this item was never sold in toy stores and could only be purchased through catalogs; it is also well known that it broke easily, so no reissues of this item were made, making it a fairly rare piece within the collection.
