This figure belongs to the Muta Force sub line, a wave that introduces the Ninja Turtles inside Japanese “mecha” style exoskeletons.
The turtle figures in this line are slightly smaller than usual in order to fit inside the armor.
This wave was among the last released in the vintage TMNT collection and is quite hard to find, especially complete, as the robot-armor includes numerous parts.
