“El Matador” is part of the “Series 6” figures of the WWF collection produced by HASBRO toy company, this collection brought to the action figure format the most relevant wrestlers of the famous wrestling TV show.
These figures were distributed in several countries, so we can find the blister card in different languages such as English, Spanish, French, German or Italian.
“El Matador” is a professional wrestling character played by Tito Santana, whose real name is Merced Solis. Tito Santana adopted this alter ego in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the 1990s. As “El Matador”, Santana wore bullfighter’s attire and used a cape in the ring.
The El Matador character was known for his technical style in the ring and his connection to Hispanic culture. Although he did not win major titles under the name El Matador, Tito Santana is still remembered as a respected and beloved wrestler in the history of lucha libre.
