Curiosities about the toy and variants

This figure is part of the second wave of the "Batman - The Animated Series" collection, produced by toy manufacturer KENNER during the 1990s.

This collection of figures is based on the characters from the animated series of the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reissued, so it is not unusual to find some differences in the packaging.

There are two known versions of this figure, one with a gray suit and another with a much darker, almost black suit.

Character

Catwoman, also known as Selina Kyle, is one of the most fascinating and ambivalent characters in Batman: The Animated Series. Selina is an expert thief and agile fighter who moves through Gotham City with the grace of a feline.

Although she is a criminal, Catwoman is not evil in the traditional sense, but acts according to her own moral code. Her main motivation is to protect animals and fight against corruption that affects the most vulnerable, which often brings her into conflict with both the law and Batman.

The relationship between Catwoman and Batman is complex and marked by mutual attraction. Throughout the series, the two characters oscillate between allies and adversaries, caught in a game of cat and mouse.
