Curiosities and variants of the figure
This figure is part of the fourth wave of the “Batman – The Animated Series” collection, produced by toymaker KENNER during the 1990s.
This collection of figures is based on the characters of the animated series with the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reedited, so it is not uncommon to find them with some differences in the cardboard.
Character
Bane is one of the most formidable villains in “Batman: The Animated Series” and is known for his combination of brute strength and strategic intelligence.
Originally, Bane is a prisoner born in the Peña Duro prison, where he was subjected to an experiment that granted him superhuman strength through the use of a drug called Venom. This drug, administered through a system of tubes connected to his body, allows Bane to increase his size and strength dramatically, making him a far superior physical opponent to Batman.
Unlike many other Gotham villains, Bane is not only a brute; he is also a brilliant strategist. In the series, he is hired by Rupert Thorne to defeat Batman, and he meticulously plans how to do it, studying Batman to find his weak spot.
