This figure is part of the fourth wave of the “Batman – The Animated Series” collection, produced by toymaker KENNER during the 1990s.

This collection of figures is based on the characters of the animated series with the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reedited, so it is not uncommon to find them with some differences in the cardboard.

Character

Batman, in “Batman: The Animated Series,” is portrayed as a dark and complex hero who fights tirelessly to protect Gotham City from its many villains. Batman is the secret identity of Bruce Wayne, a billionaire who, after witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, vowed to dedicate his life to fighting crime.

Unlike many heroes, Batman does not possess superpowers, but relies on his intelligence, combat skills, and vast collection of technological gadgets to confront his enemies. His character is marked by a deep sense of justice, though he often struggles with his own inner demons, including guilt and loneliness.

The series also highlights his relationship with other key characters such as Alfred, his loyal butler and father figure, and Robin, his young crime-fighting partner.

Although Batman is feared by Gotham’s criminals, he also shows a compassionate and protective side towards the innocent. Throughout the series, Batman not only confronts iconic villains like the Joker and Two-Face, but also tackles moral dilemmas, showing that behind the mask is a man deeply affected by his past and committed to his mission.
