This figure is part of a wave launched to coincide with the release of the movie "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm." A year after the series premiered, and due to its success, the series' production company created a movie and the toy company KENNER created a new wave for its successful collection of figures.
In this case, we can see how the packaging for these figures is quite different in design from the rest of the collection. Even so, the figures follow the same style, and several figures that already existed in previous waves were reissued in this wave with the new packaging.
This collection of figures is based on the characters from the animated series "Batman: The Animated Series." It was distributed in several countries, so it is not unusual to find some language differences on the packaging.
