This figure is part of the third wave of the “Batman – The Animated Series” collection, produced by toymaker KENNER during the 1990s.

This collection of figures is based on the characters of the animated series with the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reedited, so it is not uncommon to find them with some differences in the cardboard.

In this case we find a pack with two figures.

Character

Batman and Robin form one of the most iconic duos in comic book history. Batman, Bruce Wayne’s alter ego, is a dark and reclusive vigilante who fights crime in Gotham City, motivated by the tragic death of his parents as a child.

Robin, whose real name is Dick Grayson, is a young acrobat who also becomes an orphan after the death of his parents and is adopted by Bruce Wayne. Under Batman’s tutelage, Dick becomes his partner in crime fighting.

The relationship between Batman and Robin is complex and deep. Batman, with his somber nature and meticulous approach to fighting crime, finds in Robin a partner who balances his seriousness with a more youthful, optimistic energy.

Robin, though Batman’s apprentice, brings his own perspective and skills to the team, complementing Batman with his agility, acrobatic prowess and ability to connect emotionally with people.
