Curiosities and variants of the figure

This figure is part of the first wave of the “Batman – The Animated Series” collection, produced by toymaker KENNER during the 1990s.

This collection of figures is based on the characters of the animated series with the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reedited, so it is not uncommon to find them with some differences in the cardboard.

The most desired figures of this first wave are known as “6-back” (first edition), which have the images of the first 6 figures on the back of the cardboard.

Character

Robin, in “Batman: The Animated Series,” is the alter ego of Dick Grayson, Batman’s first and best-known sidekick.

Dick is a young circus acrobat who, after the tragic death of his parents at the hands of a criminal, is adopted by Bruce Wayne. Over time, Bruce trains Dick in combat and detective skills, and together they form a dynamic duo to fight crime in Gotham City.

Robin brings a lighter, more youthful touch to Batman’s grim world, balancing his mentor’s seriousness with his own more optimistic and compassionate approach.

In the series, Robin is shown as a loyal and effective ally, often complementing Batman’s abilities, bringing not only physical prowess, but also a more emotional approach to situations.
