Curiosities about the toy and variants
This figure is part of the second wave of the "Batman - The Animated Series" collection, produced by toy manufacturer KENNER during the 1990s.
This collection of figures is based on the characters from the animated series of the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reissued, so it is not unusual to find some differences in the packaging.
Character
The Scarecrow, whose real name is Jonathan Crane, is one of the most terrifying and psychological villains in "Batman: The Animated Series."
As a former psychology professor specializing in the study of fear, Crane becomes the Scarecrow after being fired from the university for his unethical experiments. Determined to get revenge and prove the power of fear, he uses a special gas that induces terrifying hallucinations in his victims, forcing them to face their worst fears.
Visually, Scarecrow is chilling, dressed in a costume reminiscent of a farm scarecrow, with a mask that reflects his obsession with fear. Throughout the series, his focus is on psychological terror, both on his enemies and the population of Gotham City.
