The figure of Batman part of the first wave of figurines in the collection of theSuper Powers produced by the KENNER toy company between 1984-1986.
Being a figure of the first wave, this was reissued in later years, that yes, in its first edition with the cardboard “12-back” is the most sought after among collectors, this cardboard contains the image on the back of the first twelve figures in the collection.
As with the rest of the figures in the line of the Super Powers, the figure of Batman comes with an “Action-feature”. In this case, by squeezing the legs, the arms move simulating fist blows.
Character
Batman is a superhero appearing in U.S. comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and debuted in issue #27 of Detective Comics on March 30, 1939. In the DC Universe continuity, Batman is the alias of Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American playboy and philanthropist who resides in Gotham City.
The history of the origin of Batman presents him swearing revenge against criminals after witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, a vendetta tempered with the ideal of justice.
He trains physically and intellectually, creates a bat-inspired personality and monitors the streets of Gotham at night. Batman was accompanied by other supporting characters, including his allies Robin, Batgirl, Alfred Pennyworth or James Gordon and Catwoman; and enemies such as Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face and his archenemy, the Joker.
