Dragon Ball is a manga written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was originally published in Shōnen Jump magazine in 1984, and has become one of the most successful manga/anime in history. To this day, comics, animated series, movies, video games… and of course figures are still being published 😉
The story explains the adventures of Goku and his friends, and how they try to get the 7 Dragon Balls, which are scattered all over the planet, if they manage to find them all, they have the power to summon Sheron, a magical dragon that grants wishes. During their adventures they encounter multiple enemies trying to achieve the same goal. Little by little the series focuses more on the battles and how Goku fights to protect planet Earth from all the enemies that threaten to conquer it and exterminate humanity.
Obviously, like all successful series such as Dragon ball, there are several lines of collectible figures with the characters of the series.
