The FLAME THROWER PAC/RAT is a notable vintage G.I. Joe action figure accessory, initially released in U.S. toy stores as a boxed item in 1983.
This unit remained available through 1984 and was subsequently discontinued in 1985. For collectors, the FLAME THROWER PAC/RAT was also offered as part of a trio of PAC/RATs through Hasbro Direct's mail-away programs from 1985 to 1992.
Certain mail-in versions of the FLAME THROWER PAC/RAT were molded in a darker shade of green, providing a distinct variation for any G.I. Joe collection.
Plastirama released the FLAME THROWER PAC/RAT in Argentina, where it was known as the Robot Lanza-Llamas.
