Its retail availability continued through 1984 before being discontinued in 1985. Collectors could also acquire the Wolverine through Hasbro Direct mail-away offers from 1985 until 1987.
In Europe during the early 1980s, this action figure vehicle was recolored in black and distributed as the Action Force Wolverine, later becoming available in green.
Brazil's 1986 release presented the vehicle as the Tanque Lança Foguete.
In Japan, the Wolverine was also sold in 1986.
