The Black Saints are a group of warriors that exists in parallel to the holy order of the Knights of Athena. They are an order of renegade knights, branded as traitors, whom the goddess has removed from her army. These warriors only care about victory and power, their dark side has not allowed them to conquer a legitimate Athena, so they wear these black armors, which are copies of the Cloths used by Athena army.
Although the character is not the same, this figure is the same as the V1 version of Cygnus but painted both armor and body black.
These figures were released exclusively in Japan in 1987, in a very limited edition of only 12,000 units, which makes them very expensive and difficult to obtain.
