Luke Skywalker X-wing Pilot figure was part of the second wave of figures (1978) of the Star Wars collection, during the following years several reeditions of the figure were made, so we can find it with different cardbacks.
The first edition of this second wave is known as “20-back”, since the back of the carton showed 20 figures, the 12 from the first wave and the 8 from the second wave. This edition included a promotion whereby by sending 4 proofs of purchase to KENNER, the toy company mailed the figure of Boba Fett.
Luke Skywalker is the central protagonist of the Star Wars saga. He starts out as a young farm boy on Tatooine, but his life changes when he meets the Princess Leia and becomes involved in the fight against the Empire. Guided by the Jedi mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke discovers his connection with the Force and becomes a Jedi.
