The Power Droid figure was part of the second wave of figures (1978) in the Star Wars collection; over the following years, several reissues of the figure were produced, so it can be found with different packaging.
The first edition of this second wave is known as the "20-back," since the back of the box featured 20 figures: the 12 from the first wave and the 8 from the second. This edition included a promotion: if you mailed four proofs of purchase to KENNER, the toy company would send you a Boba Fett figure by mail.
