Alim Coelacanth (nicknamed Merdude by Michelangelo) is a man-fish creature from the lost city of Atlantis, and he is also its true ruler.
Merdude left Atlantis over 200 years ago in search of others of his kind; it seems he is the only mutant in the lost city.
There are no known variants of this figure, but it has been reissued on occasion, so it can be found with different packaging and blister packs; the most sought-after version among collectors is, obviously, the first version from 1992.
