Metalhead is a robot created by the evil Krang to destroy the Turtles; he was reprogrammed by Donatello to become one of their greatest allies.
There are no known variants of this figure, though there are some reissues with different blister card designs.
Years later, another version called Warrior Metalhead Michelangelo was released, using the same figure mold but with metallic-colored paint. It could be considered a variant were it not for the fact that it has a different name.
