Warrior Winged Donatello was one of the last figures released in the basic line; Warrior Winged Leonardo was released alongside him, and the two share the same molds—only the color of the parts differs—which demonstrates the cost-cutting measures PLAYMATES was implementing at the time. These figures included a collectible coin.
There are two known variants of this figure: one with silver weapons and another with gold weapons, both of which are equally difficult to find.
Since these were the last figures released in the basic line, the number of units produced was somewhat lower, making them somewhat difficult to find.
