Grune the Destroyer figure of Thundercats LJN – Vintage includes the following accessories:
Thundercats figure line was distributed in many countries, so that we can find the figure of Grune the Destroyer in different blister packs, some with the “free Mumm-ra” promotion and others without. As with the rest of the figures in the Thundercats this figure comes with an “Action-feature” that moves the arms up and down by pulling a lever on its back.
Grune was a ThunderCat and the general commanding the armies of Thundera. His great-grandfather was lord of the ThunderCats.
After many years of peace, Grune longed for battle and power. He considered the Thunderians unworthy of the service of the ThunderCats and sought to rule them as a God. Grune attempted a military coup, which was met by the powerful Jaga. The two fought for hours and finally Grune was defeated. Using the Sword of Omens, Jaga locked up Grune in a crystalline sheath and banished him to space. Grune arrived on the Third Planet where he plundered and sowed terror all over the planet, earning himself the name of Grune el Destructor.
