Character
Clayface, in “Batman: The Animated Series,” is the alias of Matt Hagen, a movie actor who becomes a tragic and powerful villain.
Hagen, once a successful actor, suffers a terrible accident that leaves his face disfigured. Desperate to regain his looks and career, he agrees to use an experimental cream from a corrupt company, Daggett Industries, that can temporarily mold his face. However, after excessive use, the substance transforms his body into a mass of malleable clay, giving him the ability to change shape at will, but also turns him into the monstrous Clayface.
