Character
Dick Grayson, in “Batman: The Animated Series,” is the young man who assumes the identity of Robin, Batman’s first sidekick.
The son of a family of circus acrobats, the Flying Graysons, Dick is orphaned at an early age when his parents are killed during a performance. Bruce Wayne, who witnesses the tragic incident, decides to adopt him and train him to become his partner in crime fighting.
As Robin, Dick Grayson brings a younger, more optimistic perspective to Batman’s grim mission. Throughout the series, he is shown as a growing hero, facing his own challenges and developing in both his skills and character.
