Ace (v1) is a notable vintage G.I. Joe action figure initially released in 1983 as part of the second series. This pilot figure was exclusively bundled with the G.I. Joe X14-F Sky-Striker jet.
For collectors seeking this particular action figure, Ace later saw re-release from 1988 to 1994 through various Hasbro Direct mail-in offers.
In 1989, Ace was included in the "Special Mission Drivers" set alongside Lampreys (1985), Keel-Haul (1985), Strato-Viper (1986), and Motor Viper (1986), and was also available for individual mail-order.
Internationally, the Ace action figure saw various releases. In the United Kingdom and Europe, Ace was packaged with the Skystriker under Action Force branding during the late 1980s.
