This figure of Savage He-man & Orko was released as a Deluxe version of the Masterverse collection, the deluxe figures include more accessories or larger characters and were sold at a slightly more expensive price than the standard ones. On this occasion this pack was sold which included both pieces.
Savage He-man can have different origins depending on the series or comics that we take as a reference, in this case we have the version of the animated series “MOTU Revelation” where its origin is when Principe Adam loses the sword of power and tries to get “The power of Grayskull” without channeling it through the sword, then receives all the power, but loses control, turning himself into a kind of Berserker.
Original comics released with the collectible figures MOTU vintage presented to He-man as a barbarian coming from a savage tribe, this would be the first time we know of Savage He-man, we could say that it is the original He-man , even before the Filmation series changed its origin to that of Prince Adam.
