This figure was part of the fourth wave of figures in the vintage Masters of the Universe collection, launched by Mattel in 1985.
It was released in different countries, so we can find it with packaging in different languages or with slight color changes.
There is a well-known variant of this figure, the "Dark Face Grizzlor," produced in Mexico to be sold in the US. This variant has a black face and limbs instead of the brown color of the others.
It is said that this variant scared children so much that it was withdrawn from toy stores, although this seems to be more of an urban legend than a true story. Even so, today the "Dark Face Grizzlor" is a highly sought-after figure among collectors.
Grizzlor is one of the members of the Horde, and as such he faithfully follows Hordak's orders. He is considered a ferocious creature and is greatly feared by his enemies. It is said that he likes to stun his prey and then finish them off with his claws.
