Stinger is one of the figures released in the collection's final year; along with Driller, they are part of a sub-line called Ram-pagers, and these two are the most expensive figures in the entire collection. It's quite rare, and its wings break easily, so getting one in perfect condition is a very difficult task.
Stinger is a villainous character in the ThunderCats universe. The character was part human, part robot, and part dragonfly. With humanoid arms and a humanoid head, this hybrid creature wears a helmet and has six wings that allow it to fly. He never appeared in the animated series.
However, Stinger did appear in a story in the 1989 "ThunderCats UK Annual" published by Marvel Comics UK. The story was titled "Past Perils Times Two," and in it, Lion-O and Cheetara are transported back in time to the distant past of the Third Planet. There, Cheetara encounters two children who are being chased by a Stinger. Cheetara saves them, but in doing so attracts the attention of Mother Stinger. This would imply that the Stingers are a race of creatures that lived on the Third Planet in the past.
