Mutagen Man was originally a deliveryman named Seymour Gutz, who got lost easily. One day, he got lost and stumbled upon Shredder’s secret laboratory, where Krang was boiling a mutagen. When Rocksteady and Bebop noticed him, they shot him, and Seymour fell into the mutagen tank, transforming him into Mutagen Man.
There are no known variants of this figure, but it has been reissued on occasion, so it can be found with different packaging and blister packs; the most sought-after version among collectors is, obviously, the first version from 1990.
