Bengali is part of the figures released last year in the collection, all of these figures are somewhat more expensive than the rest, although they are not as scarce as it might seem. Of this figure there is the Argentinean variant of the PLAYFUL toy company, which has slight color changes, but the most important thing is that the weapon is very different, instead of having the blue hammer it has a silver axe.
Bengali is a skilled blacksmith and one of the three new ThunderCats who joined the original team along with Pumyra and Lynx-O. Slightly similar in appearance to its cousin Tygra, Bengal has white and blue skin covered with tiger stripes (based on a white Bengal tiger). He, along with his two fellow Thunderians, escaped from Thundera by boarding a spaceship. They then made their way to Third Earth, but were captured by Berserkers working for Mumm-Ra. Finally, the ThunderCats succeeded in rescuing them and the three Thunderians were united with the rank of ThunderCats and received uniforms, weapons and insignia.
