The Thundercats line was distributed in many countries, so the Vultureman figure can be found in various blister packs, some featuring the "free Mumm-ra" promotion and others without. Like the rest of the Thundercats figures, this one comes with an "Action-feature" that, when a lever on its back is activated, moves its arms up and down, simulating a strike with its weapon.
Vultureman, known as "Buitro" in Spanish, is a cunning vulture-man who serves as the chief inventor and mechanic for the Mutants. His skills in mechanics and science make him indispensable. When his inventions and machines fail to meet Reptilio's expectations, Reptilio doesn't blame or reprimand him. Later in the series, he decides to work for his own benefit, accepting offers from Mumm-Ra.
